Gunpos was founded in May 2005 by one of our current Directors Trevor Perry. Prior to starting Gunpos he spent over 20 years in IT and had worked in retail from the shop floor through to store management.
After working in Point of Sale wholesale for nearly a decade, Trevor noticed there was a lack of reliable and knowledgeable resellers who had the needs of the retailer as their prime concern. Gunpos was born to fill this void.
The success of Gunpos has come not from advertising but through word of mouth from our satisfied clients. We can also measure our success from the number of clients, both large and small, that are still with us today.
GunPoS achieved the first ever national roll out of Hewlett Packard retail hardened computers. We have since gone on the achieve several more national rollouts with Hewlett Packard and other manufacturers.
In 2009 Dianne Gates joined the management team as a Director. Dianne has an extensive history in Point of Sale. Dianne bought with her a formidable set of skills in corporate negotiation. Dianne has been responsible for winning some of the largest PoS hardware deals in Australian Retail history.
Over the years Gunpos has evolved from a supplier of retail hardware to a partner able to offer an all-round solution. We offer consulting services, software, hardware and finance options, as well as back of store solutions to make the life of a retailer easier.
